- Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs reported that Google's subsidiary, Fructan Holdings Singapore Pte. Ltd., is investing T$25.3376 billion for data processing and electronic information services.  
- Additionally, Google's Connectds Singapore Pte. Ltd. will invest T$1.74 billion for semiconductor inventory procurement.  
- Nanya Technology is also investing $400 million in its unit in the British Virgin Islands to reduce foreign exchange hedging costs.
