Shares of Amazon (AMZN.O) rise ~3% to $255.09 in premarket trading
Company said on Monday it plans to invest up to $25 billion in AI startup Anthropic, while Anthropic has agreed to spend more than $100 billion over the next decade on company’s cloud services
J.P. Morgan says the expanded Amazon-Anthropic commitments improve near- and medium-term visibility for the Trainium ecosystem and related cluster infrastructure, which is a positive read-through for company’s semiconductor suppliers Marvell Technology (MRVL.O) and Astera Labs (ALAB.O)
