The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index initially closed down 2.4%. Among popular Chinese concept stocks, TAL Education fell 9.3%, XPeng dropped 6.4%, New Oriental declined 5.8%, Pony.ai fell 5%, while WeRide and Zai Lab both dropped 4.3%. Alibaba slipped 3.5%, NetEase fell 3.2%, and NIO declined 3%. Li Auto and GDS Holdings remained roughly flat, VNET Group rose 0.8%, Jinko Solar increased 1%, and Canadian Solar surged 9.5%. In the ETF sector, KWEB fell 2.8% and CQQQ dropped 2%.
