Deliveries of a $300,000 flying car may be coming later this year

Xpeng, a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, plans to start delivering its flying cars, priced at nearly $300,000, later this year, with full-scale production expected by 2027. The company has received over 7,000 orders, primarily from China, and is seeking regulatory approval. Xpeng's subsidiary, Aridge, is producing these vehicles in a facility designed for 10,000 units annually. Additionally, Xpeng is focusing on robotaxis and humanoid robots, aiming for significant production in the coming years. Shares of Xpeng rose over 2.5% in premarket trading following recent fluctuations.
