Vernal Capital Acquisition Corp. Announces Closing of $100,000,000 Initial Public Offering

NEW YORK, May 07, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Vernal Capital Acquisition Corp. (the “Company”), a Cayman Islands exempted company, announced today the closing of its initial public offering of 10,000,000 units at $10.00 per unit. The units are listed on the New York Stock Exchange (“NYSE”) and began trading under the ticker symbol “VECAU” on May 6, 2026. Each unit consists of one (1) ordinary share and one (1) right entitling its holder to receive one-fourth of one ordinary share upon consummation of an initial business combination. Once the securities comprising the units begin separate trading, the ordinary shares and rights are expected to be listed on NYSE under the symbols “VECA” and “VECAR,” respectively. Concurrently with the closing of the initial public offering, the Company closed a private placement of 251,250 units at a price of $10.00 per unit, resulting in gross proceeds of $2,512,500. Each private placement unit consists of one (1) ordinary share and one (1) right entitling its holder to receive one-fourth of one ordinary share upon consummation of an initial business combination. D. Boral Capital LLC is acting as sole book-running manager of the offering.
