While it doesn’t have the outrageous 1,234-horsepower output of the Sapphire, it takes the crown as the longest-range EV in the United States, with an EPA rating of 516 miles on a full charge when equipped with 19-inch wheels. Its dual-motor, all-wheel drive powertrain provides a healthy 819 hp, enabling a zero to 60 miles per hour sprint in just 3 seconds. 2. 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV 4WT: 493 milesThe Silverado is Chevrolet’s first-ever electric pickup. It’s still in the production ramp-up phase, with fewer than 1,000 units having been delivered in 2023, but things are slowly improving on this front.It’s also the longest-range electric pickup to be rated by the EPA, with a maximum driving distance of 493 miles on a full charge. 3. 2026 GMC Sierra EV Denali 1: 478 milesBased on the same platform as the Chevy Silverado EV and GMC Hummer EV pickup, the Sierra EV boasts a maximum towing capacity of 10,000 pounds, four-wheel steering and a pair of electric motors making 754 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque when the so-called Max Power mode is activated.When it comes to charging, the beefy Sierra EV Denali 1 EV is capable of accepting up to 350 kW from a compatible fast charger, enabling it to add about 100 miles of range in 10 minutes. With an 800-volt battery that can accept up to 400 kW from a DC fast charger, the iX3 can go the distance, and then get back on the road when a top-up is needed. 7. 2026 Rivian R1T: 420 milesThe refreshed Rivian R1T ups the range figure from its predecessor by 10 miles thanks to a very long list of under-the-skin tweaks, including ditching almost two miles of internal wiring, reworking the entire manufacturing process, and refining the software. 8. 2026 Rivian R1S: 410 milesThe same improvements that were made to the R1T pickup also made their way to the seven-seater R1S SUV, leading to a 10-mile increase in range for the California-based EV maker’s flagship model. It also has over 350 miles of advertised driving range in the xDrive60 version, which comes with a dual-motor setup. 13 (tie). 2026 GMC Hummer EV pickup: 363 milesThe reborn Hummer, now in all-electric guise, comes with a massive, 24-module battery pack on the 3X trim level, enabling a driving range of up to 363 miles on a full charge. The SUV promises to deliver 350 miles of range on a full charge and a 0-to 60 miles per hour sprint in 7.5 seconds, but there are faster versions available, too. The entry-level model, which is also the longest-range one, has a single rear drive unit and can DC fast charge at a rate of up to 250 kW for a 10 to 80% top-up in a little under 30 minutes. 16. 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 6 Long Range RWD: 342 milesThe cheapest Hyundai Ioniq 6 is also the one that offers the longest driving range. In this case, it’s 342 miles for the SE Long Range equipped with a single rear-mounted electric motor that makes 168 kilowatts (225 horsepower).This being said, it's worth noting that Hyundai has officially discontinued the regular versions of the Ioniq 6 in the U.S. due to slower-than-expected sales, leaving just the go-fast Ioniq 6 N on offer. It’s powered by a single, rear-mounted electric motor that makes 335 hp and 317 lb-ft.The i4 is expected to be retired after the new i3 sedan debuts later this year, but until that happens, the electric fastback is still a great option for those who want a driver's EV. That price decrease, however, also comes with a range drop. The first R2s that will reach customers this spring will be capable of delivering up to 330 miles on a full charge, courtesy of an 87.9 kWh battery pack. With up to 656 hp and 609 lb-ft, the dual-motor R2 Performance is seriously quick for a crossover, going from 0-to-60 mph in 3.6 seconds. 20 (tie). 2025 VinFast VF9: 330 milesVietnamese automaker VinFast’s flagship EV, the VF9, manages to just slip under the top 10 longest-range electric cars in the United States, but at 330 miles in Eco trim, it’s still a respectable effort for a newcomer. It's also one of those cars that needs a significant effort to get ahold of, as VinFast currently has fewer than 20 dealerships across the country. 21. 2026 Cadillac Lyriq: 326 milesCadillac’s Lyriq has been long in the making, but the sales figures are showing that General Motors is finally stepping up its manufacturing game by churning out more and more next-gen EVs like the Lyriq. You can think of this EV as a toned-down Escalade, with a nice interior and a great ride. 22. 2026 Tesla Cybertruck All-Wheel Drive: 325 milesThe dual-motor version of Tesla's once internet-famous electric pickup was once the longest-range electric pickup in the U.S., but that's no longer the case, as GM has upped the game significantly with the Chevy Silverado EV and GMC Sierra EV. The Cybertruck is also struggling with sales.A bolt-in range extender battery that fits in the truck's bed was apparently in the works, but it never saw the light of day, so this is the longest-range Cybertruck we'll probably ever see. This means it was purpose-built to be a battery-powered car, and it shows. With up to 456 hp on tap and an advertised 10 to 80% recharge in just 21 minutes from a compatible DC fast charger, Audi’s mid-size crossover EV seems to have what it takes in an increasingly competitive market. With 319 miles of range (in front-wheel-drive form; adding eAWD drops range to a still-good 307 miles), this is a good option for families looking to avoid any anxiety on their next road trip. Thanks to its great value, the Equinox EV is now America's best-selling non-Tesla EV. 24 (tie). 2026 GMC Hummer EV SUV: 319 milesUnlike the pickup, the SUV version of the GMC Hummer EV only has room for a 20-module battery pack, down from the pickup's 24 modules. Because of this, the maximum range of the massive American EV is 319 miles. That said, everything else stays the same, including the $100,000+ price tag and wild off-road features. The Ioniq 5 comes in rear- and all-wheel drive form, but the range for the dual-motor trims is lower. In other words, an EV that’s smaller than a mid-size crossover, but one that comes with a healthy array of standard equipment, including all-wheel drive and GM’s Super Cruise advanced driving assistance system (ADAS) that enables hands-free driving on hundreds of thousands of miles of mapped highways in North America. 26 (tie). 2026 Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV: 317 milesThe EQS SUV is, just like its name suggests, the crossover cousin of the fish-shaped EQS luxury sedan. In other words, it was developed as an EV from the get-go, but it's based on a previous-generation platform, which is slowly getting outpaced by rivals like the Lucid Gravity. With the optional Performance Battery Plus, the German sports electric sedan finally breaks the 300-mile mark on the EPA cycle. 28. 2026 BMW i7: 314 milesThe i7 is to BMW’s lineup what the EQS is in Mercedes-Benz’s portfolio. In other words, it’s the all-electric alternative to the flagship 7 Series, and it looks like Mercedes managed to overtake its main German rival on the driving range front because the longest-range i7 can’t quite keep up with the EQS 450+, at least on paper.That said, the heavily revised 2027 i7 ups the range figure to 350 miles, but we're still a few months away from the first deliveries. 29. 2026 Chevrolet Blazer EV: 312 milesThe rear-wheel drive Blazer EV RS uses a 102 kWh battery pack that enables a driving range of up to 312 miles on a full charge. Speaking of charge, the zero-emissions Blazer can top up its batteries at up to 190 kW from a DC fast charger, while the onboard charger can accept up to 11.5 kW of power when connected to an AC source. The same platform is used for both the electric and gas versions, so you get a car that feels like it could have been a lot better. Still, it's the first electric BMW with a native NACS charge port, and it still drives like a proper Bavarian sports sedan. Instead, it slots between the Polestar 2 and Polestar 3 in the Swedish-based automaker’s lineup.It’s supposed to be the company’s breadmaker in an increasingly crowded crossover market, where it wants to stand out with sleek body lines and the absence of a rear window. Whether that will be to everybody’s taste or not remains to be seen. 31. 2026 Mercedes-Benz EQE sedan: 308 milesThe EQS's smaller brother, the EQE sedan, is powered by a smaller battery, but it's still laser-focused on efficiency. The EQE is also more affordable than the EQS.
