It was last reported at HKD16.87 in the afternoon session, up 24.04%, with turnover of 177 million shares, involving HKD2.739 billion.</p><p>Last Thursday (21st), the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) officially signed and released the final reconsideration rule for the AIM Act technology transition regulations. The policy substantially relaxed the GWP limits for several core sub-sectors, effectively extending the legal usage life of third-generation refrigerants in the US. In addition, the UK Department for Environment, Food &amp; Rural Affairs announced a delay in its proposed phased reduction steps for fluorinated gases.</p><p>Huatai Securities believes that the extension of overseas usage periods will provide more favorable support on the demand side for hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs). Given that global HFCs production capacity is mainly concentrated in China and overseas supply remains limited, Chinese refrigerant producers are expected to fully benefit. Guosen Securities added that domestic refrigerant prices continue to rise, and industry prosperity is expected to persist.
