Credit: CnEVPost</figcaption></figure><blockquote><ul><li>The updated Onvo L60 will offer versions equipped with LiDAR and Nio's in-house developed Shenji NX9031 autonomous driving chip.</li><li>Onvo's full lineup, including the L90, L80, and the new L60, will be showcased at the Shenzhen Auto Show.</li></ul></blockquote><p>Nio Inc (NYSE: NIO) sub-brand Onvo is set to showcase its latest model at a major industry event in South China, as it intensively rolls out new products to maintain sales momentum.</p><p>Onvo president Shen Fei announced Thursday on Weibo that the updated Onvo L60 SUV (sport utility vehicle) will debut and begin pre-sales on May 29, the opening day of the 2026 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Auto Show (Shenzhen Auto Show).</p><p>The brand's entire lineup, including the Onvo L90, L80, and the new L60, will be exhibited together at the event.</p>    <div>        <p><span>Join us on </span>            Telegram            <span> or </span>            Google News        </p>    </div><p>Onvo's media briefing at the Shenzhen Auto Show will start at 10 a.m. Beijing Time on May 29, when the pre-sales price of the updated L60 is expected to be announced.</p><p>The move highlights the Nio sub-brand's efforts to keep its products fresh in China's fiercely competitive EV market. The official launch of the updated L60 is expected in June.</p><p>Nio founder, chairman, and CEO William Li said at the launch event of the Onvo L80 on May 15 that Onvo would begin pre-sales for the updated L60 at the Shenzhen Auto Show, though he did not mention a specific date at the time.</p><p>The facelifted Onvo L60 will receive significant technological and hardware upgrades. The new vehicle will introduce Nio's in-house developed 5-nanometer automotive-grade autonomous driving chip, the Shenji NX9031.</p><p>In addition, the model will add versions equipped with LiDAR, paired with the Nio World Model assisted driving solution.</p><p>This aligns with the strategy of the recently launched 2026 Onvo L90 and the new L80 model, aiming to offer more flexibility.</p><p>Smart EVs represent a joint transformation of the intelligence, electrification, and automotive industries, Shen said. The new L60 will serve as an important vehicle for consumers to experience the Nio World Model.</p><p>The Onvo L60 mid-size SUV was initially launched in September 2024. The starting price for vehicle purchase at that time was 206,900 yuan ($30,520). The starting price under the BaaS (battery as a service) battery rental option was 149,900 yuan.</p><p>For reference, the currently available Onvo L60 has a wheelbase of 2,950 millimeters and offers both single-motor and dual-motor versions, with a maximum range of up to 740 kilometers.</p><p>The current Onvo L60 does not use LiDAR, and its autonomous driving chip is the Nvidia Orin X.</p><p>Onvo is intensively expanding its product lineup to sustain delivery growth. The brand delivered a total of 5,352 vehicles in April this year, up 21.64% from the same period last year.</p><p>The upcoming Shenzhen Auto Show will be held from May 29 to June 7, marking China's next major auto industry event following the record-breaking Beijing Auto Show.</p><p>The overall exhibition area of the Shenzhen auto show is expected to reach 300,000 square meters.
