The model, with a starting price of 479,800 yuan ($70,770), secured over 20,000 firm orders within 24 hours of its launch.The Luxeed V9 MPV (multi-purpose vehicle), jointly developed by Huawei and Chery (HKEX: 9973), was launched on May 15 and surpassed 10,500 firm orders within 48 hours. The model has a starting price of 389,800 yuan.In addition, the Aito M6, which was launched on April 22, surpassed 20,000 units in deliveries during its first month.The Shangjie Z7 series, jointly built by Huawei and SAIC, was launched on April 22 and saw its deliveries exceed 2,000 units within two days after deliveries began on May 30.Under the HIMA business, Huawei has jointly created five new brands with local automakers — Stelato with BAIC Group, Aito with Seres Group, Luxeed with Chery, Maextro with Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group (JAC), and Shangjie with SAIC Motor.These brands correspond to Huawei's deep strategic partnerships with different traditional car manufacturers respectively.To showcase its expanding product lineup, HIMA is exhibiting 13 models at the ongoing 2026 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Auto Show (Shenzhen Auto Show), with its booth area reaching a record 5,000 square meters.This marks a significant growth in the alliance's booth size at an auto show, expanding all the way from 1,050 square meters in 2023 to this year's scale.Besides the hot-selling Aito and Luxeed models, the displayed vehicles also include the Stelato S9, Maextro S800 Grand Design, and Shangjie H5.Huawei is empowering traditional automakers by providing advanced smart driving systems and in-car software.
