(NYSE: MOH) (“Molina”) announced today that the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) intends to award a HealthChoice Illinois Medicaid Managed Care program contract to Molina’s Illinois health plan subsidiary, Molina Healthcare of Illinois.The go-live date for the new contract is expected to be January 1, 2027. The contract is expected to have a duration of four-and-a-half years, with the option to extend the contract up to an additional five-and-a-half years at the discretion of the state.
