In the first quarter of this year, Alphabet's Other Bets segment that includes Waymo saw its losses grow to $2.1 billion from $1.22 billion a year earlier. Waymo's revenue fell to $411 million from $450 million the previous year.</p> <p>Waymo recently raised $16 billion in a funding round that values the business unit at $126 billion, more than double its valuation in October 2024. Waymo is widely viewed as a leader in the self-driving taxi space.
