<p>According to Dolphin Research, the combined revenue of TSMC (TSM.US) in July was approximately 177.62 billion New Taiwan dollars, representing a month-on-month growth of 13.6% and a year-on-year decrease of 4.9%. However, it reached a new high in nearly half a year and also reached the second highest level in the same period of previous years. The combined revenue for the first seven months reached 1.16 trillion New Taiwan dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 3.7%. TSMC's previously announced performance guidance for the third quarter indicated that, in terms of US dollars, the revenue for the third quarter will be between 16.7 billion and 17.5 billion US dollars, with a quarter-on-quarter growth of 6.5% to 11.6% compared to the second quarter; the gross margin will be between 51.5% and 53.5%; and the operating profit margin will be between 38% and 40%.</p>
