The starting price for the Model S is now 754,900 yuan, down from the original starting price of 808,900 yuan; the starting price for the Tesla Model X is now 836,900 yuan, down from the original starting price of 898,900 yuan. Just two days ago, Tesla announced that the price of the Tesla Long Range version will be adjusted from 313,900 yuan to 299,900 yuan, and the price of the Tesla Performance version will be adjusted from 363,900 yuan to 349,900 yuan, a reduction of 14,000 yuan. On August 1st, SAIC Volkswagen announced that from August 1st to August 31st, 9 SUV models under its brand will be discounted, with a maximum comprehensive discount of 60,000 yuan. Some models can also enjoy benefits such as 5-year 0% interest rate, up to 8,000 yuan trade-in subsidy, or additional purchase subsidy.
On the same day, Zero Run Motors, a new force in the automotive industry, announced that starting from August 1st, 2023, it will adjust the prices of its C11 electric and C01 models, with a maximum reduction of 20,000 yuan. The models affected by this price adjustment include the C11 650 Smart Edition, C11 580 Four-wheel Drive Performance Edition, C01 606 Smart Edition, C01 717 Smart Edition, and C01 630 Four-wheel Drive Performance Edition.
