ChatGPT Enterprise is here! It offers twice the speed of regular GPT-4, a larger window, enhanced security and privacy, and the ability to customize your own exclusive GPT.

The exclusive ChatGPT for large enterprises has arrived. On Monday, August 28th, in Eastern Time, OpenAI announced the official launch of ChatGPT Enterprise. It is available for use starting from that day. In addition to performing tasks such as writing emails, drafting documents, and debugging computer code, ChatGPT Enterprise also provides enterprise-level security and privacy, as well as advanced data analysis capabilities. It has been pointed out by the media that, compared to ChatGPT for general consumers, an important difference of ChatGPT Enterprise is that it allows customers to input their company's data in order to train and customize ChatGPT for the industry and use cases of the enterprise. However, some features were not yet available on Monday. OpenAI also plans to launch ChatGPT Business, a version tailored for small teams, but the release schedule has not been announced. ChatGPT Enterprise is powered by GPT-4. Enterprise users have priority access to GPT-4 with no usage limits, and the access speed is twice as fast as the regular GPT-4. Moreover, ChatGPT Enterprise allows for more input content, with an expanded context window of up to 32,000 tokens or approximately 25,000 words, four times that of the regular version. In terms of security and privacy, OpenAI emphasizes that it will not use the business data sent to ChatGPT Enterprise or any usage data to train its models. All data related to ChatGPT Enterprise conversations is encrypted, both during transmission and at rest. ChatGPT Enterprise also provides a new management console, which includes tools for managing how enterprise employees use ChatGPT, such as single sign-on, domain verification, and a dashboard that includes usage statistics. Through shareable conversation templates, ChatGPT Enterprise allows employees to build internal workflows using ChatGPT. OpenAI's API platform enables enterprises to create fully customized solutions according to their specific needs. OpenAI announced that the release of ChatGPT Enterprise signifies another step forward for AI assistants, as it can assist with any task, protect company data, and provide customized services for organizations. OpenAI did not disclose the pricing for the Enterprise version, stating that interested companies should contact them as pricing will depend on each company's usage and use cases. OpenAI stated that there is significant interest from businesses in ChatGPT for enterprises and claimed that it has been adopted by over 80% of Fortune 500 companies, making it one of the fastest-growing consumer apps in history. Brad Lightcap, Chief Operating Officer of OpenAI, mentioned that the development of ChatGPT Enterprise took "less than a year" and received assistance from more than 20 companies of various sizes and industries. Beta users included Block, Canva, and Estée Lauder. While OpenAI encrypts the data for the Enterprise version, Lightcap pointed out that OpenAI will collect aggregated data on how the Enterprise version is used, including performance metadata, which is a standard practice.
