New energy vehicles were active, with Leap Motor rising more than 8%, and Great Wall Motors, BYD, BAIC, and GAC following suit. Real estate trends were mixed, with Sunac China rising more than 6%, Longfor Group rising more than 5%, and China Evergrande, Country Garden, and Hopson Development rising more than 3%. China Evergrande opened with volatile gains, rising more than 7% at one point, but fell in the final trading session, closing down 11.11%. It has fallen more than 10% for two consecutive days. Biopharmaceuticals plunged in early trading and narrowed their losses in the afternoon. Coal, petroleum, and petrochemicals fell. Precious metals and non-ferrous metals remained sluggish.
