U.S. Cash Products-Gulf Coast diesel little changed day after cycle change

NEW YORK, Oct 6 (Reuters) - U.S. Gulf Coast ultra-low sulfur diesel cash differentials were little changed on Friday, taking a breath after changing to trade on Colonial Pipeline’s 58th cycle for delivery to New York Harbor during the previous session, market participants said. Gulf Coast 62-grade ULSD (ULSD-DIFF-USG) was little changed, trading 4.25 cents per gallon below the ultra-low sulfur diesel futures contract on the NYMEX (HOc1) . U.S. Gulf Coast M4 conventional gasoline (RU-DIFF-USG) gained 1 cent, trading 14 cents higher than the gasoline futures benchmark on the New York Mercantile Exchange RBc1>, market participants said. A3 CBOB gasoline (CBOB-DIFF-USG) gained 3 cents, trading 4 cents per gallon below futures, traders said. Chicago CBOB gasoline (CBOB-DIFF-MC) fell 1 cent, trading 11 cents per gallon below futures, traders said. Chicago ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD-DIFF-MC) fell 10.25 cents, trading 42.5 cents per gallon below diesel futures. Elsewhere in the Midwest, Group 3 V-grade gasoline (RUV-DIFF-G3) was little changed, trading 9 cents higher than the benchmark. Group 3 diesel (ULSD-DIFF-G3) fell a quarter of a cent, trading 9.25 cents higher than the benchmark. In New York Harbor, M3 conventional gasoline (RU-DIFF-NYH) gained 8 cents, trading 30 cents per gallon above futures, traders said. Diesel for delivery in New York Harbor (ULSD-DIFF-NYH) fell half a cent, trading 4.75 cents per gallon above futures, traders said. The RBOB futures contract on NYMEX (RBc1) rose 0.32 cents to settle at $2.1922 a gallon on Friday. NYMEX ultra-low sulfur diesel futures (HOc1) rose 3.21 cents to settle at $2.9008 a gallon on Friday. Renewable fuel (D6) credits (RIN-D6-US) for 2023 traded between 90 and 92 cents each on Friday. Biomass-based (D4) credits (RIN-D4-US) traded at 91 and 92 cents each, traders said.
