Hong Kong stocks were suspended in the morning due to a typhoon and resumed trading at 2 pm. They continued their upward trend of the past two days, with the Hang Seng Index opening 14 points higher at 17,500. It rose as much as 147 points or 0.8% to a high of 17,633, but encountered resistance and fell to a low of 17,447, and now stands at 17,452, down 33 points or 0.2%. The total turnover was HKD 33.2 billion. In addition, the Hang Seng Tech Index rebounded after two consecutive declines, opening 0.2% lower and then falling to 3,799 before rebounding to a high of 3,859, up 1.1%. Among the 30 constituent stocks of the Hang Seng Tech Index, BYD Electronics (00285.HK) performed the best, with its stock price rising 7.9% to break through the 52-week high of HKD 38.25, reaching a high of HKD 39.15, the highest in over two years. It now stands at HKD 37.5, up 3.3%. Weibo (09898.HK) rebounded 2.7% to a high of HKD 96.3; NetEase (09999.HK) rose for three consecutive days and now stands at HKD 160.2, up 2.1%. Baidu (09888.HK) crossed the 10-day moving average, reaching a high of HKD 131.2, and now stands at HKD 128.6, up 0.6%. Meituan (03690.HK) continued to rebound, up 0.6% to HKD 109. Tencent (00700.HK) rose for three consecutive days, with a high and low of HKD 308.8/HKD 302, and now stands at HKD 305.8, up 0.2%. However, Alibaba (09988.HK) reached a high of HKD 83.45 but encountered resistance, fell to a low of HKD 81.55, and now stands at HKD 81.8, down 1.3%. SenseTime (00020.HK) fluctuated down 2.1% to HKD 1.4. Alibaba Health (00241.HK) fell 1.9% to HKD 4.71. Ideal Auto (02015.HK), NIO (09866.HK), and Xiaopeng (09868.HK), which fell in line with their A-share counterparts, fell by nearly 2% to 3.5%, with the latter experiencing the greatest selling pressure, falling 3.4% to HKD 67.35.</p>
