China CBM Group Company Limited, an investment holding company, engages in the exploitation, liquefaction production, and sale of natural gas and coalbed gas in the People’s Republic of China. The company provides liquefied coalbed gas logistics services; explores for, develops, produces, and sells coalbed methane; distributes gas; and manufactures and sells polyethylene gas pipelines. It serves industrial, and commercial customers. The company was formerly known as China Leason CBM & Shale Gas Group Company Limited and changed its name to China CBM Group Company Limited in June 2014.
