Chinese chip firms line up for Hong Kong listings in coming weeks
At least six Chinese AI-related companies, including Montage Technology and GigaDevice Semiconductor, plan to go public in Hong Kong soon, aiming to raise significant funds. Shanghai Biren Technology is also preparing for an IPO. This follows successful listings of peers in Shanghai, despite a weaker secondary market for Chinese tech shares. AI startups MiniMax and Zhipu, backed by Alibaba and Tencent, are also targeting IPOs by January.
