Gold prices continue to climb
Gold prices in Vietnam rose further, with Saigon Jewelry Company gold bar prices increasing to VND183.2 million (US$7,027.90) per tael. Globally, spot gold climbed 1.8% to $5,279.94 per ounce, having gained over 20% this year. Analysts predict gold could reach $6,000/oz by year-end, driven by central bank buying and strong demand for safe-haven assets amid economic uncertainty.
