Keymed Biosciences' Loss Deepens in 2025

KEYMED BIO-B announced its 2025 annual results, with revenue recorded at RMB 716 million, an increase of 67.3% year-on-year. The loss slightly widened from RMB 515 million in the previous year to RMB 523 million, with a loss per share of RMB 1.91. No final dividend will be distributed

"Performance" KEYMED BIO-B's annual loss slightly widened to 523 million RMB

Keymed Biosciences (HKEX: 02162) reported its 2025 annual results, with total revenue of approximately RMB 720 million, a 67% increase year-on-year. Key revenue sources included RMB 310 million from its core product Kangyueda® and RMB 410 million from collaborations. The company maintained R&D expenses of around RMB 720 million and had cash reserves of approximately RMB 1.96 billion. New drug applications for Kangyueda® have been approved, enhancing patient access in China. Additionally, CMG901 was out-licensed to AstraZeneca, and CM336 was out-licensed to Ouro Medicines, with potential payments totaling approximately US$320 million for Keymed.

Gilead will make an upfront payment of $1.675 billion and a $500 million milestone acquisition of Ouro, while KEYMED will receive $250 million as an upfront payment and $70 million in milestones, and will continue to enjoy sales sharing rights for CM336. The firm believes this transaction will accelerate the global value realization of CM336 and reiterates its optimism regarding KEYMED's related assets, maintaining a "Buy" rating with a target price of 91.08 yuan
