CBL International Ltd. has successfully completed its first LNG bunkering operation at Xiaomo Port in Shenzhen for BYD, marking a significant step in maritime decarbonization. This operation, in collaboration with China National Offshore Oil Corporation, aims to expand sustainable fuel options beyond biofuels. LNG is recognized for its potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by about 20% and lower fuel costs, aligning with international maritime emissions reduction targets.
