Changan Automobile has been awarded China's first license plate for Level 3 autonomous driving after over 5 million km of testing. The license, Yu AD0001Z, was issued by Chongqing's Traffic Management Department. Changan's Deepal SL03 model will conduct pilot operations on designated routes, including Chongqing's expressways, following successful tests with zero accidents. This marks a significant advancement in China's self-driving industry regulation.
