In Hong Kong, SMIC and Hua Hong Semiconductor both rose over 4%. The Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.01%, while the Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.21%. The photovoltaic glass and energy metals sectors strengthened, while the Hainan Free Trade Zone and commercial aerospace sectors weakened. The Hang Seng Index rose 0.02%, and the Hang Seng Tech Index rose 0.07%. Government bond futures opened mixed, and most domestic commodity futures markets rose. The semiconductor sector continued to strengthen, with SMIC raising prices for some production capacity by about 10%.
