The Hong Kong Government reported a provisional surplus of HKD11.2 billion for FY2025-26, with total expenditure at HKD790.3 billion and revenue at HKD697.5 billion. This surplus is HKD8.3 billion higher than the revised budget surplus of HKD2.9 billion, attributed to increased revenue from profits tax, stamp duty, and land premium income. Fiscal reserves reached HKD665.5 billion as of March 31.
