U.S. Stocks Come Under Pressure After Early Move To The Upside
U.S. stocks fell on Wednesday after early gains. The Nasdaq dropped 1.2%, the S&P 500 fell 0.8%, and the Dow decreased 0.2%. Technology stocks, particularly Oracle, Broadcom, and Nvidia, led the decline. Semiconductor and computer hardware stocks also performed poorly. Energy stocks rose as crude oil prices rebounded following President Trump's blockade of Venezuelan oil tankers. Asian markets mostly rose, while European markets were mixed. The ten-year Treasury yield remained nearly unchanged.
