Olam Group Limited's sale of a 32.4% stake in ARISE P&L Limited remains uncertain as it awaits shareholder and regulatory approvals. Initially expected to close by the end of last year, the transaction is now conditional on these approvals. The sale was first announced in April 2025 under a conditional agreement with Equitane DMCC. Olam plans to complete the disposal as soon as all approvals are obtained and will provide updates as required by the Singapore Exchange.
Olam has obtained approval from the lenders of port operator Arise P&L to proceed with the sale of its 32.4% stake to Equitane. This approval is a necessary condition for applying to Arise P&L's shareholders and regulatory authorities for the sale of the equity, with the transaction expected to be completed by December 31, 2025. The company stated that it will complete the sale as soon as all approvals are obtained and will issue announcements when there are significant developments.
