Canada - University signs energy upgrade deal
Brock University in Ontario has signed a C$100m clean infrastructure deal to cut campus greenhouse gas emissions by 83%. The SPARK energy retrofit, funded by the Canada Infrastructure Bank and Enbridge Sustain, will be implemented by Blackstone Energy Services. The project, which includes LED lighting, new heat pumps, and optimized building controls, aims to address high energy use from outdated systems and is set for completion in 2028.
