Intel has dumped European fab investments, including in Germany and Poland, as part of its turnaround plan, in addition to slowing construction in the US state of Ohio, media report, and warned in an SEC filing that it may be forced to abandon development of next-generation manufacturing technology, 14A, if it is unable to secure a significant external customer.
