$Tesla(TSLA.US) earnings tonight are all about Elon’s comments on autonomy timing. Last quarter he said FSD in a region by end of the year, and robotaxi material to the business by end of 2026.
Good news on that front today: GM signaled it’s at least 3 years behind FSD.GM announced plans to launch an automated driving system in 2028.Unclear if it’s more of a souped-up Super Cruise or a true FSD competitor. My guess: more like Super Cruise. Either way, they’re behind.Source: Gene Munster
