Traditional gold's problem: it remains subject to dollar strength. When the dollar rallies, gold must fall because it's priced in dollars.
$iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF(IBIT.US) is different. Bitcoin is truly "borderless money." It doesn't depend on any single fiat currency for pricing and doesn't automatically depreciate when the dollar strengthens.
With Middle East instability and accelerating de-dollarization narratives, Bitcoin's properties are being reassessed.
