The Information reports TSMCโs capacity shortfall is prompting major AI chip designers, including Google and NVIDIA, to quietly treat Intel as an alternative foundry. NVIDIA is evaluating Intelโs advanced packaging and 18A process for future chips, and Google has reportedly ordered Intel to produce more than 3 million TPUs in 2028.
