The Straits Times Index (STI.SG) in Singapore fell approximately 0.6% to around 5,720 points on Wednesday, breaking the rebound momentum that had pushed it to a new high at Tuesday's close. The index weakened further, falling about 0.5% in early Thursday trading.
All three major banks saw slight declines after releasing their earnings.
I believe this is just a basic broad market adjustment; the turning point will soon resume its upward trend.
