PALANTIR NAMES NEBIUS AS ITS PREFERRED SOVEREIGN AI INFRASTRUCTURE PARTNER.

- Palantir and Nebius announced a strategic AI infrastructure partnership, with Palantir naming Nebius its preferred sovereign AI infrastructure partner and planning to integrate Nebius compute and inference endpoints directly inside Palantir’s enterprise perimeter.

- The integration will allow eligible Palantir commercial customers to run open AI models on Nebius infrastructure, continually adapt them using proprietary company data, and maintain control over their compute, models and data.

- The companies will also work together to bring new AI compute capacity online faster, including modular data-center deployments at locations where power is already available.

Palantir CEO Alex Karp: “Nebius’ compute infrastructure powers your ability to run your own AI models under conditions you control. Our ontology and their infrastructure will undergird the sovereignty our partners are demanding.”

Nebius CEO Arkady Volozh: “Organizations need both the performance of large-scale AI infrastructure and control over their data and models. Together with Palantir, we are bringing this to commercial clients enabling them to run their optimized open models on trusted infrastructure.”

Makes sense for both to engage in a partnership. Palantir believes deeply in sovereign control over data and Nebius has said many times that they want compute infrastructure to be distributed and not just controlled by a handful of companies, felt like a partnership around sovereignty and distributed compute with both companies made sense.
