U.S. stocks rebounded Monday (SPX +0.5%, NDX +1.1%) ahead of $Meta Platforms(META.US), $Netflix(NFLX.US), and $Tesla(TSLA.US) earnings this week, lifting chip stocks after SOX’s -17% nine-session skid (longest since 2006). Brent fell -2.4% to $107, the 10-year TY rose to 5.08%, and #BTC, gold, and silver all moved higher. $Tesla(TSLA.US) edged up +0.4% after investors expressed indifference to the Roadster unveil (limited earnings impact) and awaited a $SpaceX(SPCX.US)-$Tesla(TSLA.US) all-stock merger announcement. 2026 S&P EPS of $367 (+32% YoY) implies a 21.1x P/E = 4.7% earnings yield which remains inverted vs 10-yr treasury yields, last seen in the 1999-2000 dot-com era. I expect long rates to ease as the Iran war ends. I remain cautious on $Tesla(TSLA.US) due to its stretched hvaluation (230x 2026 P/E vs +45% future long-term earnings growth) as autonomous tech continues to commoditize.
