$Meta Platforms(META.US)

Context: META has been falling after its earnings report. This happened after the company shared its big plans for future spending in a regulatory filing. According to Bloomberg, Meta has agreed to spend a whopping $825 billion in the future. Investors are worried about reduced free cash flow after the tech giant revealed it has agreed to spend about $825 billion on future leases and contracts for AI computing power. This money will be spread out across several leases and contracts, with a lot of it going towards artificial intelligence computing power and infrastructure. That's a big jump from July, when Meta said it had future spending commitments of almost $700 billion. Meta holds $355.7 billion in operating and finance leases that do not yet sit on its balance sheet. These deals cover data centers and energy infrastructure leases set to start over the rest of this year through 2036.

My Trade: Tough decision to make as Meta retraces to $650 following earnings. It looks enticing to purchase but at the same time, Meta has announced the creation of nonvoting stock and 2 for 1 split to fund growth. I'm holding for now.

Meta Has Created Nonvoting Stock to Fund Growth

Takeaway: This new stock could give Meta more flexibility when it comes to making big purchases or paying off debts. The move is likely to have a significant impact on the company's finances and operations in the coming months. @Captain's Treasure
