Headline numbers don’t tell the whole story! 📈✨

Let’s keep it simple. Is DBS really doing that poorly? Look past the headlines and see the bigger picture.

Quarterly market volatility affected trading income. A deeper look at DBS’s core business shows its underlying franchise is performing remarkably well 🚀

Here is the key factors behind DBS’s strong fundamentals in 3Q 2026:

🔹 Wealth Management Booming:

Wealth management fees climbed 9% year-on-year to S$864 million for the quarter. They also rose 24% year-on-year to a record S$2.69 billion over the first nine months.

Total wealth Assets Under Management reached an all-time high of S$544 billion, supported by strong net new money inflows.

🔹 Resilient Net Interest Income & Loan Growth:

Group Net Interest Income grew between 3.7% and 4% year-on-year to S$3.71 billion.

Solid balance sheet growth drove this performance. Total loans increased 11% year-on-year to S$479 billion, supported by effective hedging strategies.

🔹 Record 9-Month Results & Steady Dividend:

Nine-month net profit hit a new all-time high at S$8.82 billion, up 2% from the previous year. Shareholders continue to benefit from a consistent quarterly dividend of 81.0 Singapore cents per share.

Short-term market movements can distract from the bigger picture.

DBS’s wealth and lending businesses are clearly maintaining excellent momentum 😘

3 cheers for DBS.
