Women's health is an important indicator of social progress. With the recent introduction of policies focusing on women and continuous advancements in medical facilities and technology, China has made significant strides in women's health management, improving lifelong health systems.

"From a medical perspective, it is essential to establish a comprehensive and scientific system for prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and health promotion tailored to women's different age groups, disease characteristics, and health needs," emphasized Ma Liang, Deputy Secretary-General of the Chinese Research Hospital Association.

Experts present also shared insights, latest diagnostic and treatment advancements, and heartfelt wishes regarding women's health and breast cancer prevention.

From a clinical standpoint, Professor Hu Xichun, Director of the Medical Oncology Department at Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center, noted that China's drug and medical equipment R&D capabilities are catching up, narrowing regional gaps. "Zero Deaths from Early-Stage Breast Cancer" Initiative Officially Launched

As one of the most common malignancies among Chinese women, breast cancer remains a significant threat. The 2022 National Cancer Report shows nearly 420,000 new cases annually. While early-stage survival rates have improved, the disease burden remains heavy.

She expressed hope for higher long-term survival rates and greater societal attention to women's health.

Early screening, diagnosis, and treatment require long-term, collaborative efforts. Tan Lixia, Vice Chairperson and Executive Vice President of Haier Group and Chairperson of Yingkang Yisheng, led the launch of the "Zero Deaths from Early-Stage Breast Cancer" initiative. By building an innovation platform and promoting education, the initiative aims to create a comprehensive prevention and treatment system, improving five-year survival rates. Attendees united in their commitment to advancing women's health and ensuring breast cancer no longer hinders women's lives.
