Week 15 of 2024 (second week of April), total passenger car sales reached 310,000 units (demand remains low). Traditional passenger car sales were 164,000 units, while new energy vehicle sales were 146,000 units. The new energy vehicle penetration rate last week was 47%. As of April, car demand still appears to be at a very weak point, even worse than the second week of March.
