In March 2024, U.S. pure electric vehicle sales reached 102,000 units, with a penetration rate of 7.1%. U.S. plug-in hybrid sales were 33,000 units, with a penetration rate of approximately 2.3%.

U.S. hybrid vehicle sales were 122,000 units, with a year-on-year growth rate of 29.7%.

U.S. Q1 electric vehicle market share:
- Tesla's market share was 51.3%, down 13.3% year-on-year.
- Ford's sales surged by 86.1%.
- Rivian's sales increased by 58.8% year-on-year, but its stock price declined.
- Cadillac's sales grew by 499.2% year-on-year, marking a strong comeback.
- Other brands experienced varying sales fluctuations.
