At the spring product launch event of Hesai Technology, the latest advancements in LiDAR technology were introduced, and the ultra-wide-angle long-range LiDAR ATX with the fourth-generation chip architecture was released.
All automotive customers have requested cost reductions for LiDAR, with the target price set at 1000 yuan. The new product will participate in the competition between performance and cost.
The volume of the new ATX LiDAR has been reduced by 60% compared to the previous generation AT128, with a 50% reduction in weight. The detection range reaches 300 meters, supporting a resolution of up to 256 lines, and a horizontal field of view of 140°, improving the safety of urban assisted driving.
The new chip architecture adopts 3D stacking technology, integrating 512 channels on a single board, and embeds a 256-core intelligent point cloud parsing engine and an 8-core APU.
