On April 25th, at the Beijing Auto Show, XPeng focused primarily on technology. XPeng unveiled the highly anticipated Tianji System and AI Driving, showcasing the powerful capabilities of this intelligent driving system.
During a previous test drive of the X9, the experience was quite impressive. This MPV can meet the needs of the entire family. The core features of the Tianji System include SR recognition, which identifies the most elements in the industry and can predict their movements, making driving safer. Compared to the human eye, SR technology can see farther, more comprehensively, and more clearly, even recognizing fleeting road signs and manhole covers in lanes. Additionally, it can predict the next moves of obstacles, such as alerting the driver to lane-cutting, pedestrians crossing, or the car ahead starting to move, giving the driver more reaction time.
In terms of autonomous driving capabilities, XPeng's AI Chauffeur and AI Parking technologies are industry-leading. AI Chauffeur can not only be used for commuting but also covers various life scenarios, with a memory of up to 100 kilometers, meeting needs like intercity travel or returning to one's hometown. As long as there are lane markings, the system can enable autonomous driving after learning the route once, without requiring additional navigation settings each time. The system will automatically remind the driver when approaching the starting point that AI Chauffeur is available. AI Parking is even more astonishing—no remote control is needed, and the vehicle can park itself in about 30 seconds, greatly simplifying the process for the driver. With the improvement of XNGP autonomous driving capabilities, the X9's driving strategy has become more mature and human-like. The system has fully achieved mapless operation, accelerating the widespread adoption of advanced urban assisted driving. XPeng's systems provide perception and prediction capabilities, identifying potential risks and activating panoramic imaging and sentry mode in advance to protect the driver's safety in case of accidents like scratches.
With the launch of the Tianji System and AI Driving, XPeng continues to push the boundaries of intelligence. This year's auto show was crowded, and the atmosphere at XPeng's booth was lively.
