
Li Auto originally had high hopes for its first pure electric MPV model MEGA and set aggressive sales targets for it, but the model's performance fell short of expectations after its launch on March 1. Li Auto adjusted its first-quarter and full-year sales targets on March 21. Between February 29 and March 21, Li Auto's stock price dropped by 30%.
On May 15, Beijing lawyer Hao Junbo stated that investors have filed a securities fraud lawsuit against Li Auto and some of its executives in a U.S. court. He publicly called for investors to join a free class-action lawsuit. The litigation period for this case spans from February 26 to March 20, 2024. On February 26, Li Auto released its full-year 2023 results and provided delivery guidance for the first quarter of 2024. On March 21, Li Auto lowered its first-quarter delivery target.
