With the wave of intelligence in the automotive industry, the demand for connectors is growing, especially in autonomous driving data interaction and in-car entertainment. Connectors must handle larger data volumes while ensuring stability and reliability.
The evolution of automotive electronic architectures—from distributed ECUs to DCUs (Domain Control Units) and ZCUs (Zone Control Units)—requires connectors to be more integrated and compact to fit tighter vehicle designs.
TE Connectivity offers a range of high-speed, high-frequency connectors, including coaxial, differential signal, and hybrid connectors, meeting transmission needs from antennas, screens, and cameras to radar, LiDAR, and USB signals.
The product line covers transmission rates from 100 Mbps to 25 Gbps, supporting protocols like FPD-LINK, GMSL, Ethernet, 100BASE-T1, USB2.0, and USB3.2, demonstrating TE's comprehensive capabilities in high-speed data transmission.
TE globally debuted its one-stop high-speed, high-frequency connectivity solution at the show, targeting three core areas of smart vehicles: autonomous driving, smart cockpits, and smart connectivity. The solution includes 15 GHz differential and coaxial high-frequency links, as well as economical, compatible traditional data connectivity applications. Localized development and manufacturing ensure diverse products with ample capacity, offering customers worry-free choices.
FAKRA connectors, an industry standard, are suitable for external signal reception and body camera signal transmission, while MATE-AX is a miniaturized coaxial connector designed for in-vehicle camera signal transmission, meeting integration and miniaturization needs.
For varying pixel requirements and installation positions of in-vehicle cameras, TE offers fixed and floating connectors, ensuring high-quality image transmission while meeting spatial and flexibility needs.
TE's hybrid connectors are used not only in LiDAR but also in various domain controllers, meeting diverse signal transmission needs under integration trends, reducing wiring complexity, and improving assembly efficiency.

One-Stop Electric Vehicle Connectivity Solutions
TE's electric vehicle connectivity solutions cover key areas like batteries, charging, powertrains, and auxiliary power, showcasing strategies for integrated e-drive architectures. The second-generation charging socket combo, lightweight aluminum busbars, and next-gen battery ultra-fast charging connectors support stable ultra-fast charging under 1,000V×1,000A architectures, simplifying assembly and reducing costs. Collaboration with local supply chain partners enhances total cost, quality, and performance advantages, meeting diverse needs of next-gen EVs.

Domain Controller and Board-Level Connectivity Solutions
TE's solderless Press-fit terminals and miniaturized hybrid standard wire-to-board connectors provide compact, flexible, and compatible solutions for domain controllers. NanoMQS miniaturized surface-mount connectors and FFC insulation displacement solutions further save space, reduce connector counts, avoid soldering risks, and optimize cost and performance.

Harness Assembly and Multi-Win Composite Wire Solutions
TE's REM series wire-to-wire connectors and Multi-Win composite wire solutions optimize harness architectures, significantly reducing weight and cost without compromising conductivity or signal transmission. They are expected to cut low-voltage harness copper use by 60%, reduce weight by 37%, and lower carbon emissions, driving the automotive industry's green transition.

High-Voltage Circuit and Data Connectivity Solutions
TE provides complete connectivity, protection, and management solutions for high-voltage circuits in new energy vehicles. Meanwhile, industrial and commercial transport data connectivity products are advancing toward passenger vehicle-grade performance, offering solutions for ADAS, infotainment, 360° surround-view systems, and high-speed V2V/V2I communication.
