$Intel(INTC.US)Renowned tech media GameNexus (GN) recently released a video stating that due to stability issues with Intel's 13th/14th generation processors, they will no longer recommend these processors until the issue receives a reasonable official explanation.

GN pointed out that aside from common factors like solar storms, frequency voltage, and memory capabilities, these two generations of processors may also suffer from 'oxidation' caused by manufacturing defects. According to current information, this stability issue can lead to random blue screens, software crashes, GPU VRAM errors, false anti-cheat bans, and decompression errors.

It seems this oxidation cannot be fixed via software, and the probability of early failure is not insignificant. Underclocking has limited impact on failure rates.
