In the 41st week of 2024, domestic passenger car registrations reached 598,000 units, up 50% month-on-month; new energy vehicles accounted for 298,000 units, up 60% month-on-month; fuel vehicles reached 300,000 units, up 62% month-on-month.
BYD's new energy vehicle sales were 106,200 units, SAIC-GM-Wuling sold 23,700 units, Galaxy + Geely sold 15,200 units, and Aion sold 6,600 units.
Among foreign brands, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and BMW led in sales.
Among new energy vehicle startups, Li Auto topped the list with 13,400 units, followed by Leapmotor, Aito, ZEEKR, and others.
