
India's auto wholesale market declined 1.1% year-on-year in September to 358,879 units, with year-to-date sales up 4.3% to 3,216,747 units in 2024.
MG Motor sold 4,588 units in a single month, with cumulative sales reaching 40,600 units, showing strong performance. Maruti Suzuki continues to lead the brand rankings, but sales fell 3.9%. Mahindra's sales surged 23.7% year-on-year, surpassing 50,000 units for the first time.
In terms of models, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga claimed the monthly top spot for the first time, while the Mahindra Scorpio entered the top five for the first time.
