When we are considering whether to buy long or short, both judgments seem to have sufficient arguments. Most of the positions have nothing to do with the facts, but only with our current emotions and the positions themselves, because even opposite judgments can find a large number of arguments to support them. Any judgment may have a narrative woven from solid facts, and our inner greed and fear determine which facts we selectively listen to.
