In October, Porsche test driver Lars Kern drove a Taycan Turbo GT and set the first officially certified fastest lap record for production cars at the Shanghai International Circuit with a time of 2 minutes 11.28 seconds on a semi-wet track, surpassing the previous record of 2 minutes 16.39 seconds set by a domestic production car.
We used to go abroad to set lap records, now Porsche comes to our doorstep to do it ๐
