- For stocks priced above $3, a price fluctuation exceeding 5%-10% of the average price over the previous 5 minutes will trigger a circuit breaker
- The circuit breaker duration is typically 5 minutes
- If the price fails to return to the normal trading range during the circuit breaker period, the duration will be extended
